Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jascha-Alexander Koch studierte Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit der Ausrichtung Elektrotechnik an der Technischen Universität zu Braunschweig. Die Schwerpunkte seines Studiums waren Finanzwirtschaft, Volkswirtschaft und Kommunikationstechnik. In seiner Masterarbeit untersuchte er „Risikomaße im Kreditrisikomanagement”. Herr Koch beschäftigte sich in seiner Dissertation mit dem Thema "Online Crowdfunding Platforms: Campaign Success, Cancellation, and Fraud" und schloss seine Promotion im Juli 2019 erfolgreich ab. Von 2019 bis Juli 2022 war er Post-Doc am Lehrstuhl für e-Finance der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt und Research Associate beim efl - the Data Sciance Institute.
