As soon as you have been admitted to the final thesis, you can obtain a certificate of expected graduation from the Examinations Office, as required for Master's applications, for example. The provisional overall grade is calculated from all available examination grades for the subjects (not the general studies).

If you (additionally) need a performance overview, you can generate this via unisono.

As soon as all examinations have been completed and graded, your degree is officially awarded. The final documents (certificate, diploma and transcript of records) are then issued by the Examinations Office. You will be informed by email as soon as the documents are ready for collection or dispatch. During this time, a certificate of actual graduation can be issued on request

Would you like to continue with a Master's degree at the University of Siegen straight after your Bachelor's degree?

Then all coursework - including the thesis - must be completed by330.09. (summer semester) at the latest.

If you have received a conditional Master's admission, please submit your Bachelor's certificate and diploma to the Registrar's Office and Examinations Office by 30.11. (winter semester).

Internal applicants do not have to submit the documents later.

As soon as the last service has been booked, you will receive a certificate of successful completion by e-mail.

Your graduation documents will be issued within 4 weeks. They can be collected or sent to you on request. Please make sure that your address in unisono is up to date. We will also inform you about the dispatch by e-mail. It is best to enter your private e-mail address in the application for admission to the final thesis so that we can contact you even after you have exmatriculated. Your data will be treated confidentially and will only be used for this purpose.

Master's certificates are issued in German and English. Bachelor's certificates are issued in German and can also be obtained in English on request.

Graduation ceremony

Schools IV holds a graduation ceremony once a year. You will be invited via your private or student e-mail address. The ceremony usually takes place in spring/summer.

This will tell us where your professional journey will take you after graduation - and you will also help other prospective and current students to get answers to these questions. You will receive the invitation to the graduate survey with your graduation documents.
