Justification

The University of Siegen's website is very extensive and comprises more than approx. 100,000 web pages. These are regularly updated. Despite great care, training concepts and support from central offices, editorial omissions with regard to accessibility when creating web content cannot be completely ruled out.

A large number of PDF documents are made available on the University of Siegen website. A large number of these were created before 23.09.2018. Accessibility is not guaranteed for these documents. However, we endeavor to ensure the accessibility of these documents in the course of review and renewal processes.

As part of training courses, we promote the knowledge and skills of members of the University of Siegen to create PDF documents and forms that are as accessible as possible.

The provision of videos with an audio description has not yet been realized.
