Promotion
The University of Siegen supports its academics in all phases of their research projects - from internal university start-up funding for a research idea, the search for suitable funding bodies and advice on submitting applications, to the administrative, financial and legal handling of projects and the transfer of research results.
Shaping research strategically
Prorectorate and committees
The Vice-Rectorate for Research, Infrastructure and Networking strengthens research at the University of Siegen through strategic impulses, targeted funding measures and the expansion of scientific infrastructures - both locally and internationally networked.
The Senate Commission for Research and Early Career Researchers advises the Rectorate on strategic research developments and internal funding lines.
The DFG liaison officer advises researchers in particular on funding opportunities from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and provides confidential support with questions relating to applications and funding procedures.
