Repository Search Services
In addition to the university’s own FoDaSi, there are other repositories available worldwide where data can be stored across institutions. Search services such as Re3data and RIsources help users get an overview of what research data repositories have to offer:
Re3data.org (Registry of Research Data Repositories)
The re3data.org project—Registry of Research Data Repositories—aims to catalog repositories in a web-based directory, thereby providing an overview of existing data collections.
RIsources
With RIsources (RI = Research Infrastructure), the German Research Foundation (DFG) offers an information portal on scientific research infrastructures that provide researchers with resources and services for planning and conducting research projects, including specialized repositories for research data.
Selected Interdisciplinary Repositories
zenodo
The interdisciplinary repository Zenodo is maintained by CERN in Geneva. In addition to scientific publications, research data can also be uploaded.
RADAR (Research Data Repository)
As a generic, interdisciplinary service, RADAR follows a two-tiered approach that includes a (discipline-independent) entry-level option for archiving research data (including in the context of good scientific practice) and an advanced option for data publication with integrated data archiving.

DFG Whitelist
Through its Whitelist, the DFG provides an extensive selection of recognized, subject-specific repositories. Whether in the humanities, cultural studies, psychology, social sciences, or natural sciences—the Whitelist offers guidance in selecting the appropriate repository.

Humanities and Cultural Studies - DARIAH-DE
DARIAH-DE connects various disciplines within the humanities and cultural studies and promotes the exchange of resources, methods, data, and experiences by establishing a digital research infrastructure. Archive-in-a-Box provides an archiving solution for data in the humanities and cultural studies.
German Studies - CLARIN-D
CLARIN-D supports research in German studies by providing services for locating German language data, analyzing written and spoken text, and ensuring the long-term preservation and availability of corpora and research results.
Life Sciences - PUBLISSO
The Life Sciences Repository is intended for all researchers in the life sciences who wish to publish their work and research data as open access.
Psychology - FDZ at ZPID
The Research Center (FDZ at ZPID, formerly PsychData) supports researchers in making their research data available to the psychology research community—thereby increasing the visibility of their own research—as well as in accessing and utilizing research data that others have made available for scientific use in their own research.
Social Sciences - GESIS
The “Data Archive for the Social Sciences” (DAS) is a central infrastructure facility for the registration, documentation, and archiving of quantitative research data that promotes the analysis of social developments from national, international-comparative, and historical perspectives.
Social Sciences - Qualiservice
The Qualiservice Research Data Center archives and makes qualitative social science research data from various disciplines available for scientific reuse.
