We are proud to announce that the next German Conference for Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (GCPR) will take place in Siegen from Sept. 22nd to Sept. 25th, 2026, jointly with the Vision, Modelling and Visualization Conference (VMV). Both are hosted by ZESS, whose member Michael Moeller presented the venue at this year’s GCPR in Freiburg.
The German Conference on Pattern Recognition (GCPR) is the annual symposium of the German Association for Pattern Recognition, DAGM (https://www.dagm-gcpr.de/). It is the national venue for recent advances in image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision and it follows the long tradition of the DAGM conference series.
The VMV Symposium is the annual symposium of the Computer Graphics Special Interest Group of the German Informatics Society (https://fb-gdv.gi.de). It is well-established as Germany’s premier scientific meeting that covers the full spectrum of visual computing, including computer graphics, computer vision, visualization, and visual analytics, with a special emphasis on the link between the disciplines.
