Training courses
In cooperation with various other providers (e.g. AMZ Siegen, fire department), Department 1.1 Occupational Health and Safety offers training courses on various topics in occupational health and safety, fire protection, health protection and first aid, most of which employees of the University of Siegen can attend free of charge after registering accordingly.

- First aid training
- Fire safety assistants/handling portable fire extinguishers
- Introduction to occupational safety for new employees/trainees
- Occupational safety for supervisors / operating instructions / risk assessments
- Training and further training for safety officers
- Dealing with the "Sciformation" hazardous substance management program
ON REQUEST - Handling respiratory masks and equipment
- Load securing
ON REQUEST - Crane operator training
ON REQUEST - Safety on test setups / in the practical laboratory
ON REQUEST - Training for lecturers
ON REQUEST - Technical laser protection
- Radiation protection course to acquire the R3 / R4 qualification
- Electrical engineering testing of portable electrical equipment
