STARTING
The Admission, Registration and Training in German Language (STARTING) department welcomes prospective students and students from abroad with the Uni-Start coordinator and in the International Registrar's Office and prepares them for a Bachelor's or Master's degree course at the University of Siegen with German courses at various levels.
Our tasks
- Student affairs for foreign students
- Advice on application and university admission for applicants with a foreign school or university degree
- Admission to studies for foreign students
- Enrolment, exchange with health insurance companies, re-registration, leave of absence, change of degree program and de-registration
- Organization and implementation of preparatory German language courses (level B 1 to C 2)
- Implementation of the "German language test for university admission for foreign applicants" (DSH)
- Pre-study program for new immigrants
- Partnership network with German schools abroad - International macht Schule
