SharePoint makes it possible to create file shares for internal communication, with features such as version control, automated workflows and integration with Microsoft 365 to securely store and manage information. It serves as a central location for secure data exchange within the organization - via PC, Mac or mobile device - simply in the browser without an app.

Active ZIMT account (university user ID with corresponding password).
Access

Additional information
- The URL of a website has the structure:
"projektname.teams.uni-siegen.de" - When applying, please let us know your desired name for the website, which will replace the placeholder "project" in the above URL.
- The common web browsers Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge) are supported for accessing collaboration websites.
- Access takes place securely via the HTTPS protocol.
- The ZIMT user account, which is also used for e-mail, is used for authentication. The websites are backed up daily.
