Instructions

Click on the "Forgotten password" link on the login page https://auth.uni-siegen.de/
to enter your user name.

A signed e-mail with the one-time password from onetimepassword@uni-siegen.de will then be sent to the e-mail address you entered. You must enter this one-time password on the next page.

You can then enter a new password in the input mask.

Please note

If your account has been compromised by spam or viruses and you have had to set a new password after deactivating your account, the e-mail address stored for the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) has also been deleted for security reasons. To continue using this service, you must register again as described above.

Short procedure

Click on "Forgot password"
Enter user name
Use one-time password from the e-mail
Set new password

Note

If your account is deactivated, you will need to re-register for SSPR.
