"He's not the Messiah - he's nothing more than a naughty brat!".

On Tuesday, December 2, starting at 6 p.m., the Catholic Theology Seminar will hold an event on the topic of religion, satire and blasphemy in HS AR-H 103. Recently, there seems to have been a renewed awareness of the violation of religious feelings among followers of different religious traditions. This means that the question of the boundary between humor and blasphemy is increasingly affecting religious education. In the event organized by the Department of Catholic Theology, this question will be discussed using the example of the film "The Life of Brian".

The event will be staged as a movie night in order to explore the affective aspects of blasphemy. In order to be able to estimate the need for popcorn and soft drinks, please register informally at hanna.arns@student.uni-siegen.de is requested. The event can be credited as a mentoring event.
