Representative for Staff with Severe Disabilities

The University of Siegen considers it an important task to reduce disadvantages for people with disabilities or chronic illnesses. As part of the 2015-2016 university contract with the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the University of Siegen has committed itself in Section 11 to making a special effort to address the concerns of employees with disabilities in order to enable them to participate equally in university life despite health restrictions by taking appropriate measures.

Advice and assistance is provided by the Representative for Staff with Severe Disabilities at the University of Siegen, Dr. Klaus-Martin Klein or his deputy, Tobias Klein.

Disabled and/or chronically ill applicants should also not be disadvantaged in recruitment procedures.

Important information can be found in the information sheet on special obligations for applications from severely disabled persons and persons with equivalent disabilities.
