About the Lecture
Security is a multifaceted and contested concept that is understood and negotiated differently depending on one’s perspective. In her lecture, Dr. Leonie Jantzer examines the experiences of refugees in relation to the perspectives of police officers and explores the potential of spaces for interaction to foster mutual understanding. Drawing on these different perspectives, she contributes to a nuanced examination of the concept and practice of security.
