Dual Degree Program in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science

The dual Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is a practice-integrated program in which parts of the training are conducted at a company and the academic program is closely integrated with real-world professional practice. It is expected that the student will take on a relevant position upon completion of the program. The company provides the student with a monthly study stipend, which does not need to be repaid if the student remains employed by the company for a sufficiently long period afterward.

A sponsorship agreement or an employment contract should be signed between the student and the company. A sample contract with explanatory notes can be found on the Siegen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) website under “Dual Study Programs.”

If you have any questions, please contact the mentors for the Electrical Engineering program regarding electrical engineering, or the chair of the examination committee for the Computer Science program regarding computer science.
