The Family Services Office would like to continuously improve its services—while taking your wishes, experiences, and ideas into account.
What do you feel is missing? What could we improve? What services or support would you like to see?
Share your ideas with us! Whether it’s a small suggestion for improvement, a specific request, or a completely new idea—we welcome your input and will incorporate it into our plans for the future.
Suggestions will first be collected and reviewed by the Family Services Office. Your idea will not be made public and can be submitted anonymously.
Milestones Achieved So Far
Toward a More Family-Friendly University (In Progress!)
- 2006 - First certification as a family-friendly university as part of the "audit familiengerechte hochschule" program
- 2007 – Establishment of a Family Services Office as a central point of contact for students and employees with family responsibilities
- 2008 – The University of Siegen offers reliable vacation childcare every year
- 2009 – Employees have the option to choose from various work arrangements
