Financial Controlling Department
The Financial Controlling department is your central point of contact for all questions relating to the planning, management and transparency of our university's financial resources. As a reliable partner for the Rectorate, Schools and other budget units, we create the basis for well-founded decisions and the sustainable development of our university.
Our tasks include, in particular, budget and economic planning, reporting, budget monitoring and the accounting of personnel costs. We support strategic and operational management in all areas with meaningful key figures, regular reports and individual advice.
Our tasks and services
- Provision of management-relevant information for university management and university committees
- Use and further development of strategic and operational controlling instruments such as budgeting models, forecast calculations, target/actual comparisons, variance analyses
- Overall university budgeting and resource allocation
- Internal and external reporting (focus on finance)
- Master data maintenance in the SAP CO and OM modules
