The Innovation2Business.NRW network

27 universities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and PROvendis GmbH together form the innovation2business.nrw network. The network promotes the professional transfer of knowledge and technology to business and society. The network is funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy providing the funding.

The University of Münster is the coordinating university and PROvendis acts as the central service provider for the network. Scientists, employees and students as well as spin-offs from the participating universities can take advantage of services relating to the protection and exploitation of intellectual property (IP). As part of the state funding, these services are free of charge and can be expanded and adapted by arrangement.
