German as a Foreign Language (DaF) Counseling Services
The Language Center offers individualized counseling services for all learners of German as a foreign language. These include writing counseling, which provides support in composing texts, as well as language learning counseling, which teaches methods and strategies for effective German language learning.
Writing Tutoring for Learners of German as a Foreign Language
The Writing Center supports learners of German as a foreign language (DaF) in structuring and planning their seminar papers, bachelor’s theses, and master’s theses. It provides guidance on linguistic standards and teaches strategies for formulating academic texts in German clearly, precisely, and correctly.
The service is based on the assumption that writing is a process. For this reason, long-term support is also available. The service is designed to help students help themselves: it is entirely focused on the writer and does not include proofreading or advice on content.
