Seize the opportunity for a doctoral scholarship now: The University of Siegen supports promising young researchers with financial support for their doctoral project. Applications are now open.

The University of Siegen is offering scholarships via the House of Young Talents (HYT) to support outstanding doctoral students with excellent, promising doctoral projects. The funding program plans to award scholarships of EUR 1,750 per month for a maximum of three years to up to five doctoral candidates at the beginning of their doctoral project from 1 April 2026 in order to create the greatest possible freedom for their own academic activities.

Application deadline: 6 January 2026, 12:00 noon
Start of funding: 1 April 2026
