Call for entries 2025 for this year's edition of the debating competition "Utopia Europe"

The Office for University Cooperation of the Institut français Deutschland (IFD) and the Franco-German University (DHF) are once again inviting students from German universities to take part in the "Utopia Europe" debating competition this year. The motto of the 2025 project is "Participation and commitment: giving young people in Europe a voice".

What will Europe look like in the future? What role will young people play in shaping this Europe? How can they get involved and what can they change? These and other questions are the focus of the competition, in which students exchange their ideas and visions for a common Europe in debates.

The final event will take place at the end of September at the French Embassy in Berlin. The winners of the competition will receive a trip to Strasbourg and an organized meeting with decision-makers from Europe.
