Project Manager for the EU Doctoral Network "Hy-DETAILS"

We are looking for:

In School IV — School of Science and Technology, Chair of Interconnected Automation Systems (IAS) — we are seeking an operational project manager for the EU doctoral network "Hy-DETAILS," starting January 1, 2027, under the following terms: 

65% = 25.89 hours

  • Pay Grade 13 TV-L
  • Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2030

Your Responsibilities:

  • Overall operational coordination of the EU Horizon MSCA project “Hy-DETAILS” (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101312096)
  • Central communication with the consortium partners and the EU/REA
  • Organizing project committees and network meetings
  • Monitoring the work plan
  • Coordination of scientific, technical, and administrative reporting
  • Support for financial and resource management
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of doctoral candidates 
  • Coordination of the joint training program
  • Ensuring Compliance
  • Supporting communication, dissemination, and commercialization

Your Profile:

  • Completed doctoral degree (or to be completed by the end of 2026 at the latest)—ideally in engineering or the natural sciences
  • Strong interest in interdisciplinary and international collaboration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High degree of independence, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to reliably manage multiple parallel processes
  • Desirable: Skills and experience in research management / scientific project management (ideally in the context of EU consortium projects)
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Good command of German (spoken and written)
