Job Posting for the EU Horizon Project "Hy-DETAILS"

We are looking for:

In School IV — School of Science and Technology, Chair of Interconnected Automation Systems (IAS) — we are seeking an operational project manager for the EU doctoral network "Hy-DETAILS," starting January 1, 2027, under the following terms:

65% = 25.89 hours

Pay Grade 13 TV-L
Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2030

Your Responsibilities:

Overall operational coordination of the EU Horizon MSCA project “Hy-DETAILS” (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101312096)
Central communication with the consortium partners and the EU/REA
Organizing project committees and network meetings
Monitoring the work plan
Coordination of scientific, technical, and administrative reporting
Support for financial and resource management
Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of doctoral candidates
Coordination of the joint training program
Ensuring Compliance
Supporting communication, dissemination, and commercialization

Your Profile:

Completed doctoral degree (or to be completed by the end of 2026 at the latest)—ideally in engineering or the natural sciences
Strong interest in interdisciplinary and international collaboration
Strong organizational and communication skills
High degree of independence, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to reliably manage multiple parallel processes
Desirable: Skills and experience in research management / scientific project management (ideally in the context of EU consortium projects)
Very good command of English (spoken and written)
Good command of German (spoken and written)
