Research at the highest level: INCYTE on WDR Lokalzeit

Following the completion of the construction projects at the INCYTE research center, some laboratories are already in operation. So it was time for a visit by WDR Lokalzeit Südwestfalen.

The report was broadcast on February 17 and is also available online (see related links). Following the report, Prof. Dr. Benjamin Butz from the Department of Mechanical Engineering answered questions in a studio interview.

He emphasized the importance of the research center for the University of Siegen. The modern equipment with which the INCYTE is equipped and the cutting-edge research topics that are dealt with here are particularly noteworthy.

Basic research and application-oriented developments are interlinked and important impulses for engineering disciplines - especially mechanical engineering - are provided.
