Restrictions due to the warning strike
The trade union ver.di has once again called a warning strike for Tuesday, February 10 . Collective bargaining is currently taking place for the public sector of the federal states.
The University of Siegen is directly affected by the strikes: Numerous employees have announced that they will be taking part.
Due to the strike, the usual university services cannot be guaranteed on Tuesday, February 10 .
The following restrictions are already clear:
- The barriers at the campus locations cannot be operated and will therefore remain open throughout.
- Some elevators cannot be operated. University members are asked to use the stairwells in these cases.
- The telephone number of the Central Control Center (-4321) will not be available for the duration of the strikes. In urgent cases, please contact us by e-mail:
zlt@uni-siegen.de - The service around events (e.g. opening rooms, handing out microphones) may be affected.
- Please observe whether the technical systems in your respective areas are functioning in normal mode and report any anomalies to your superiors.
In addition, all first aiders, fire protection and evacuation assistants are asked to be particularly attentive.
