The Central Student Advisory Service will have a stand directly in front of the Student Service Center (Sandstraße 16-18) on August 30 and 31. The advisory team will provide information on all topics relating to studying at the University of Siegen and will be available for personal discussions. As a special extra, a small university quiz invites you to take part.

At the Haus der Wissenschaft (HdW) stand in the Herrengarten, everything revolves around reading and creating. Literary scholar Dr. Jana Mikota invites you to read short books from current children's and young adult literature . Children can also color in and complete the children's university skyline .

A special highlight awaits visitors on Sunday, August 31 : author Maja Nielsen will read from her book "Mit Jane Goodall bei den wilden Schimpansen" from 3:00 to 3:45 pm. This will be followed by a discussion with the author. The reading is aimed at children and adults alike and tells the exciting story of the famous primatologist Jane Goodall, who as a young woman realized her dream of researching wild chimpanzees in Tanzania.

Children can be changed, breastfed or simply rest in the tent in the Herrengarten . A changing table, various care materials and seating are available for this purpose. If you are interested, the team will be happy to provide you with information about offers for families at the University of Siegen and the flexible Flexi childcare service.
