The University of Siegen Welcomes New Trainees

Fifty days before the start of their training programs, the University of Siegen welcomed its new trainees, Lina Güldenring (Media and Information Services Specialist) and Johanna Wahl (IT Specialist for System Integration), to Welcome Day.

At the AR Campus, the two were welcomed by the current trainees, the trainers, and the training coordinators. After a welcome address by Benjamin Schwarzer, Head of Human Resources, the trainees presented their respective professions and shared their experiences regarding their training at the University of Siegen. The afternoon concluded with a group pizza dinner, during which the new trainees had the opportunity to get to know the University of Siegen’s training community better in a relaxed atmosphere.
 
Anyone interested in starting an apprenticeship at the University of Siegen can apply until August 31, 2026, for the 2027 training cycle. Applications are submitted via the university’s job portal
