University of Siegen among the top 10 in economics
The University of Siegen has achieved an outstanding 7th place in Germany in the latest ranking of the "Best Business and Management Universities" by Research.com, making it one of the top 10 in the country. The ranking is designed as a so-called impact ranking and is based on a comprehensive analysis of scientific publications. The focus is on the so-called D-Index, which measures the scientific impact based on subject-specific publications and citations. Scientific awards and other research achievements are also taken into account.
The performance of Prof. Dr. Sascha Kraus, Professor of Family Business & Entrepreneurial Orientation at the University of Siegen, is particularly outstanding. He is ranked first in Germany among academics in the field of "Business and Management" and has achieved a top position worldwide (24th place). He thus makes a significant contribution to the international visibility of Siegen's research.
Other female academics from School of Economic Disciplines, Business Information Systems and Business Law at the University of Siegen are also successfully represented: Prof. Dr. Friederike Welter (19th place) and Prof. Dr. Hanna Schramm-Klein (96th place) are also among the top 100 in Germany.
