Promoting personal exchange and making it easier to settle in - this was the motto under which Rector Prof. Dr. Stefanie Reese officially welcomed the newly appointed professors of the past few months. "I am delighted that we have been able to attract eleven outstanding colleagues to the University of Siegen," emphasized the Rector in her welcome address. "The experience they bring with them from other universities and from different countries is very valuable for us. They will play a decisive role in shaping the profiles of our key research areas."
