Voice coaching: Voice on the (hormonal) rollercoaster
Offer for female employees: Digital voice coaching with the lecturer, vocal pedagogue, voice coach and singer Irene Carpentier
It is said that an adult voice should be resilient for up to six hours at a time. However, this ideal often does not correspond to reality. There are also differences between the sexes: women are statistically more frequently affected by voice problems than men. There are not only anatomical reasons for this, but hormone metabolism also has an important influence on the voice. In contrast to men, women regularly experience hormonal changes - for example due to the menstrual cycle, pregnancy or the menopause.
Voice health is often only considered when vocal difficulties or even voice disorders have already occurred. The road back to vocal health is often long and challenging. The voice is an important instrument with which we communicate and express our feelings. A healthy voice is therefore essential for our health and well-being. A clear and present voice also helps us to convince and inspire others - whether in class or in conversation with colleagues or superiors.
Voice coaching can also be seen as "fitness training for the voice". Important background knowledge - especially tailored to women - about the voice, hormones, vocal hygiene and vocal stress is combined with practical exercises on posture, breathing and voice. Together with the participants, vocal goals are defined and suitable exercises are put together individually.
