Update on the 2025 Senate election

Thanks to our efforts and your commitment, a colleague from the University Secretariat network was elected to the (University) Senate again this year. We are delighted and congratulate her warmly and we are sure that she will continue to represent our interests in a targeted manner.

Karin Ofterdinger, Dean's Office Secretary in Faculty III, was elected. She already has experience in Senate work: she was a deputy member of the Senate from 2017 to 2019 and has been an elected member of the (University) Senate since 2019, where she is continuously committed to the interests of employees.

Through Karin Ofterdinger, the University Secretariat network will continue to be visible at the University of Siegen and our motto "Together we are strong!" will continue to exist in 2025.
