Security Update for Two-Factor Authentication

On July 29, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., an urgently needed security update will be performed on the two-factor authentication service. During this time, there may be brief interruptions in the login process if a second factor is required. Users who have previously logged in without a second factor may also be affected, as the system will be unable to verify whether a second factor is required during this period.

All services that use Shibboleth IDP or Citrix Netscaler for authentication are affected. Existing sessions are not expected to be interrupted.
