Profil

Nino Bohn is a research associate at the Chair of Human-Centered Information Systems at the University of Siegen. His research explores how complex data-driven systems, particularly urban digital twins, can be made more accessible and explorable through interactive visualization, spatial data analysis, and AI-supported interaction paradigms.

In the BMWK-funded research project ENVIKO, he led the requirements elicitation with stakeholders as well as the prototypical development and empirical evaluation of an integrated system for the analysis and visualization of wind energy projects. The resulting platform combines spatial visualization, scenario analysis, and AI-supported analysis functions within an interactive system architecture.

Currently, he works on the BMFTR-funded project VelocityAdapt, which integrates urban digital twins with spatial data analysis, immersive visualization technologies, and LLM-based interaction approaches. His research in this project focuses on LLM-augmented End-User Development, enabling users to model and explore complex spatial scenarios through visual no-code interfaces or natural language interaction.
