Susanne Hardt

Susanne Hardt (born 1993 in Mainz) earned a bachelor’s degree in music theory (Dresden, 2012–2016) and a master’s degree in film music (Potsdam Babelsberg, 2016–2020). She is currently working on her dissertation in the Department of Music Theory, which examines the influence of various compositional structures in film music on the viewer’s perception (Dresden, Lausanne). 
Since 2016, she has been teaching music theory and aural training at various institutions and also works as a freelance composer in the fields of contemporary music, film music, and video game music. Most recently, she composed music for the feature film “Lisbeth, My Lisbeth” (2022) and the video game “Prim” (2024).
