The examination consists of a written and an oral part.
The 1.5-hour written exam consists of four parts:
- Lexical skills (assignment, multiple choice...)
- Grammatical structures (exercises)
- Reading skills (text with questions)
- Writing skills (text on a given topic)
The 15-minute conversation in French is based on the reading comprehension task in the written part. The focus is on the direct exchange between the examinee and the examiner.
The written exam and the conversation correspond to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
(equivalent to 4 years of French lessons).
