The aim of the project is to support and strengthen a participatory process involving municipalities, representatives from the business community, academia, government agencies, and other stakeholders to understand various climate-related challenges—such as floods and landslides—and their associated cascading effects on nature and the built environment, as well as potential sustainable solutions for mitigating and managing such risks. In addition, interdisciplinary and international cooperation will be promoted. The focus topics of this seminar include:
- Dikes for flood protection
- Landslides and their impacts
- Sustainable solutions for managing flood and landslide hazards
The seminar will be held in November 2026 in Argentina.
