Target group: Safety officers and persons who are to act as such in their work area.
Persons who are to be appointed as safety officers must have attended a course beforehand.
Active safety officers are recommended to regularly attend a training course.

Note: A safety officer should be present in particular in work areas with machinery, hazardous substances or physical agents.

Speakers: Employees of the occupational health and safety department, André Grutz (AMZ Siegerland e.V.), Heinz-Dieter Sörries (Unfallkasse NRW)

Prerequisites: The approval of the line manager must be obtained prior to registration.
Planned new safety officers should have previously attended the"Introduction to occupational safety" training course.

Costs: None (borne by the university).

Contents:

• Current changes to legal regulations in occupational safety
• Implementation of measures at the University of Siegen
• New tools, brochures etc.
• ..... [Agenda will follow approx. 4 weeks before the training]
• Answering questions from the safety officers (please send them to Ms. Falkenheiner in advance if possible)
