(University) Senate of the University of Siegen
The (University) Senate advises on matters of research, art, teaching and studies that affect the University of Siegen as a whole or are of fundamental importance. (University) Senate issues statements and recommendations on the Rectorate's annual report, the draft university development plan, the university contract, the evaluation reports and the business plan. Furthermore, it is responsible for issuing and amending the basic regulations, framework regulations and university regulations. Through its members in the University Electoral Assembly, it participates in the election and removal of members of the Rectorate.
