  • Start this process about two months before you plan to officially register your thesis with the examination office.

Check admission requirements: Who does the chair supervise?

  • Bachelor's: Completion of at least one module offered by our Chair (preferably the "Human Resource Management and Organization" specialization)
  • Master’s: Student in the Master’s program Management and Markets

Email your thesis supervision request and confirmation of meeting the admission requirements to the chair’s email address

Consultation

  • Consultation hours: available on the German version of our website
  • Once you have received our confirmation via email, you can join any consultation hour without an appointment
  • Please bring your topic suggestion to the first consultation

Consultation phase before official registration

  • Please read the guidelines for writing a thesis carefully
  • Create a mental model and an outline, and discuss your progress during 2 to 3 additional consultation hours

Registration of the thesis to the responsible examination office

  • If you are ready to officially register your thesis, please begin the registration process.
  • Use the "Thesis Registration" form from the examination office
  • Bring it to your advisor’s consulation hours and have it signed by your assigned advisor
  • Submit the signed registration to the examination office

Your writing process

  • Bachelor's: 9 weeks (Bachelor's Business Administration)
  • Master’s: 14 weeks (Master’s Management and Markets)

  • Remember the statutory declaration

Submission of the thesis to the examination office

When submitting your thesis, please adhere to the guidelines set out in your academic regulations.

Evaluation

  • We aim to review and grade your thesis as quickly as possible.
  • The grade will be published by the examination office.
