Are you already working or about to start your career and would still like to do a doctorate in the field of corporate taxation? Then you've come to the right place. We offer you the opportunity to combine practical experience and research. The practical time with your cooperation partner and your time at the Chair of Business Taxation will be carefully coordinated. This ensures that you have sufficient time to work on your dissertation project without having to forego practical experience. If you do not yet have a suitable practice partner, we will be happy to help you and put you in touch with interested cooperation partners.
What should you bring with you?
You have a keen interest in the field of corporate taxation and have completed a university degree in economics with above-average results. You should also enjoy writing academic papers and dealing with tax issues. You are also characterized by a meticulous way of working and have a high degree of initiative, motivation and the ability to work in a team. In order to secure your research project, third-party funding is also a prerequisite.

What can student assistants expect?
Working as a student assistant at our department offers a wide range of tasks and opportunities. Your tasks will be to support research, teaching and the administration of the chair. This may include, for example, literature research, data collection and the preparation of lecture/exercise materials.
What should you bring to the table?
You can demonstrate above-average performance and commitment throughout your academic career. In addition, your way of working is characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility, structure and goal orientation. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a prerequisite.
