Profile

The Chair of Human Resource Management and Organization at the University of Siegen combines research and teaching with a clear goal: to develop well-founded answers to the current challenges of the working world.

  • In our research, we focus in particular on human resource management, organization and strategy, risk governance, as well as international and intercultural management. Our focus is not only on theoretical insights but also on practical solutions.
  • In our teaching, we impart both fundamental knowledge and current developments in the field. The focus is on solid theoretical foundations, practical applications, and independent scholarly work.

Our goal is to empower students to think independently, reflect critically, and take on leadership roles within organizations. Theory and practice are consistently integrated throughout this process. Our graduates should impress with their solid subject knowledge, analytical thinking, and ability to put theory into practice.

In addition, the Chair sees itself as a partner for businesses.
