Organization and Strategy
Organizations are understood as complex social systems in which collective dynamics, formal structures, and informal processes are closely intertwined. Our research examines how different forms of coordination—both within organizations and in interaction with market mechanisms—shape the behavior of stakeholders and influence strategic outcomes.
We focus on collective phenomena such as cultures, networks, and emergent developments, as well as their significance for strategic management, integration, and change. We also pay particular attention to tensions between transparency and informality, as well as to the challenges of effective governance in complex institutional contexts, such as the higher education system.
