“Europe in Research: What’s Happening at CERN—the World’s Largest Laboratory?”

CERN is one of the world’s largest research institutions and is considered a successful model for international cooperation. This lecture will cover the history of CERN, the research being conducted there, and how the participating countries and scientists collaborate. Recent global developments have also had an impact on CERN, and the lecture will describe how CERN is responding to them.
