"Sound of the seasons: What does music tell us about spring, summer, fall and winter?"
We start with an interactive sound experiment: How do we actually listen to music? Then we want to take a closer look, because the seasons play a major role in a lot of music, not just here in Europe: people sing songs to welcome spring, composers describe the seasons with their pieces and their ideas. But how do they actually do this, or to put it another way: how do they manage to make us actually think of this season or have images before our eyes when we listen or sing? To find out, we embark on a musical journey through the seasons and explore different sounds in a wide variety of music.
