This free version of Overleaf can only be used online within sciebo at. Launch the program from the ribbon at the top of the sciebo page.
Requirements
An active ZIMT account (university username and corresponding password).
You must have registered with sciebo using these login credentials (https://hochschulcloud.nrw).
Good to Know
Co-workers and guests can be invited to collaborate in the editor viathe “Share” button on the Overleaf interface.
Important:

Internal university coworkers must be invited using their sciebo ID (benutzerkennung@uni-siegen.de), while guests must be invited using a valid email address.
Guests must also be logged into sciebo at least once so that the system can recognize their email address (see also the help page on hochschulcloud.nrw). -
No email is sent to the users! The person being invited must open Overleaf via sciebo to accept the share invitation.

This free version of Overleaf is available at the University of Siegen exclusively via sciebo.
The service is provided“as is”! This means there is no support, no guidance on using the system, and no guarantee of availability! Any access issues can be reported to the ZIMT Support Desk.
Like sciebo, Overleaf is NOT a backup system! Always back up your project data to at least one external storage device so that you can continue working locally if necessary.
