Promotion
An application for formal recognition as a doctoral candidate must be addressed to the Chair of the Doctoral Committee, Prof. Dr. Thorsten Weimar.
It must contain information on the academic background, the topic and working title of the planned dissertation and the person who is to supervise it. In addition to the outline of the work plan, the exposé of the dissertation project should contain more detailed information on the thesis of the project and its significance in the research discourse as well as on the material and methods of its implementation.
A written notification of acceptance as a doctoral candidate is issued, which is signed by the supervisor and the chair of the doctoral committee.
