Lifelong Learning Projects
Funded Projects up to 2024. Strengthening Activities of Knowledge Transfer and Continuing Education at the University of Siegen.
Funding for projects in the area of lifelong learning (LLL) was a pilot project of the former Prorectorate for International Affairs and Lifelong Learning (2019–2024) under the leadership of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Petra M. Vogel. Applicants from the University of Siegen—in collaboration with partners from the city and region—could apply for up to 5,000 euros in funding to implement LLL projects. The selection was made by the Senate Commission for International Affairs and Lifelong Learning. The funded projects for 2023 and 2024 are listed below.
With the campus lifelong leraning (ca:lll), newly established in 2026, the University of Siegen aims to further expand and strengthen its profile in the field of lifelong learning and academic continuing education. The ca:lll is intended to build a better overview over the existing knowledge-transfer programs and provide support in developing, promoting, and implementing new formats. The initiative is administered by the Prorectorate for Teacher Training, Further Education and Sustainability, headed by Prorector Dr. Barbara Müller-Naendrup.
