Since April 2025, our Master's students from the German and European Economic Law degree program have been able to receive certificates in various thematic focus areas during the course of their studies.

The minimum number of points that must be achieved for a certificate to be awarded is twelve points; achievements or points beyond this can be shown on the certificate. Lectures and tutorials are counted with points equivalent to their semester hours per week, seminars with two points, an internship (9 weeks) with two points and the Master's thesis with four points. It is possible to obtain several certificates.

For the awarding and issuing of a certificate, an application in accordance with the certificate regulations must be submitted in text form to the certification officer Prof. Dr. Krebs
in text form. The application must be accompanied by evidence of the successfully completed certifiable achievements (e.g. performance overview, internship certificate, etc.). If you are unsure whether your seminar or internship can be credited, you can also contact Prof. Dr. Krebs.
