As the central transfer office of the University of Siegen,connectUS initiates and supports the transfer of technology and knowledge between science and industry. We are the first point of contact for all questions relating to knowledge transfer. We provide the necessary transparency through various offers such as events and brochures.

Central topics are networking with external cooperation partners, support for science in administrative tasks, application-oriented funding advice and the exploitation of research results through patents, company start-ups and development projects.

We offer companies an analysis of cooperation opportunities. The aim of the "Fit for Future" consulting service in the form of dialog-oriented workshops and discussions is to identify support opportunities from the University of Siegen and fields of action for companies. Over the course of two days, strategic aspects and relevant company areas are examined and suitable cooperation partners are identified to support or solve problems.

The Alumni Association of the University of Siegen is the service and contact point responsible for alumni management at the university. As a university-wide international network for all alumni, students, former and current lecturers of the University of Siegen, the Alumni Association initiates, organizes and coordinates in particular interdisciplinary offers and projects that serve to maintain contacts with alumni and the exchange among each other and with the university in the sense of knowledge transfer. Subject-specific alumni organizations and groups in the Schools are integrated into the university-wide alumni network.

The Entrepreneurship Center of the University of Siegen offers all students and employees of the University of Siegen comprehensive support for all start-up projects. From social entrepreneurship and spin-offs to classic start-ups, the team of coaches, scouts and academic staff offers sustainable and comprehensive support for all concerns.

The Career Service of the University of Siegen is an interdisciplinary service for all students in Siegen. Our task is to actively shape the transition from studying to working life. To this end, we offer advice, seminars, information events and many other attractive services. Thanks to good networking within the university, graduates and companies can also find contacts at the Career Service whose skills complement each other perfectly.
