Feedback is a form of evaluation that can be used in a variety of ways to improve teaching. Feedback on the level of knowledge and gaps in knowledge is just as possible as feedback on the learning and working process, the group atmosphere, the interaction between teachers and students, the concept of the course and much more. Feedback is a two-way process, i.e. teachers and students interact and share their respective perceptions of the situation. Feedback can be given in many different ways, verbally, in writing, through constellations and visualizations, etc. The most important thing is what the teachers know or want to communicate to the students.
The workshop presents, tests and discusses many methods of feedback that can be used quickly and easily.
Participants will be able to
- formulate their feedback concerns in concrete terms and select and, if necessary, instruct well-founded feedback procedures tailored to them
- give students feedback that is geared towards teaching objectives evaluate the feedback results and, if necessary, plan changes to the teaching concept or didactic setting.
Which of these areas the workshop focuses on depends on the interest of the participants. They also have the opportunity to formulate their questions and concerns on these topics in advance so that they can be specifically addressed in the workshop.
