Bus and train connections:
Siegen is located on the Essen-Hagen-Siegen (-Weidenau) and Cologne-Siegen-Gießen railroad lines. Buses (lines C111, C106, UX1, UX2, UX3, UX4, UX5 and UX6) run from Siegen main station and Siegen-Weidenau station to the University/Haardter Berg and to the Unteres Schloss and Emmy-Noether-Campus sites.

Connections by long-distance bus:
Long-distance bus companies also travel to Siegen. The bus stop at Koblenzer Straße 43, 57072 Siegen, is close to Siegen main station.
Connection by car:
You can reach Siegen via the A 45 (Dortmund-Gießen/Frankfurt) or A 4 (Köln-Olpe) highways.
From the direction of Gießen/Frankfurt, you can reach the university locations directly via the feeder road "Hüttentalstraße" (HTS) from junction 21, exit "Bad Laasphe / Bad Berleburg/Netphen". Follow the signs for "Universität".
Coming from the direction of Cologne, stay on the A 4 at the Olpe-Süd junction (on the A 45 coming from Dortmund, change to the A 4 at the Olpe-Süd junction (direction Kreuztal/Siegen-Nord), which then becomes the B 54 (Hüttentalstraße). At the exit towards B62 "Siegen-Weidenau/Netphen", follow the signs for "Universität" on the B 62 until you reach the junction "Universität/Haardter Berg" (turn left at the 2nd set of traffic lights).
