The decision-making body of the student body is the student parliament (StuPa), which is elected for one year at a time. As the highest student electoral body, it is mainly responsible for legislative tasks and elects the AStA.

Student councils at the University of Siegen
The student councils represent the interests of students in a department. They are the first point of contact for problems relating to the subject. In addition, they organize first semester introductions or offer tutoring programs for younger students.
